Default Cheese and Branston Pickle....

Forgot how good that was / is.

Landed back in Blighty a few days ago, got some nice mature Cheddar, found some Branston Pickle in the fridge, and with a fresh crusty French baguette - absolutely lovely. Been eating the same thing for days now...

Just thought I'd share that with you all.

How long had the pickle been in the fridge??? Since you first went to Saudi???

And, while you were looking in the fridge, you didn't by any chance find that certificate you've been looking for...........?

So does this mean you can't get Branston in Saudi? I've always got a little supply over here.

Had mature cheddar on toast with Marmite last night. Co-op's dark, heavy grain bread. Perfect after a few jars.

I can get through half a jar of piccallili (I can't spell it either) when the cheese board's in full swing. Horseradish sauce goes well with cheese, too.

I think ( and hope ) the Branston was in there since the last visit ( December ). And sadly - no sign of the certificate. Maybe that's in the freezer for safe keeping....
