I wouldn't call it cheating as such (cheating is an athlete using drugs, a cricketer tampering with the ball, a footballer using his hands or taking a dive,improving the lie of a golf ball when no one notices etc etc) ......doesn't 'using the draw' occur in other sports?

I've heard of teams losing matches intentionally to get a better run through the knock outs before.


And re: your quote.....Kiwi's aren't exactly renowned for cheating.....think you've mixed us up with the aussies....
