Charity shops
Does anyone know of any genuine charity shops in Dubai or AD that take donations of good clothes ? (Other than clothes recycle bins)

Re: Charity shops
The churches used to, but I'm not sure if that's still true post-covid.

Re: Charity shops
Yes!
Have just done some donating of clothes and shoes. Will ask the missus who it was that came, they were super polite, came to the apartment and were genuinely grateful for it all. We'd relied on Washmen previously but their 'donation' stickers on bags are only during Ramadan it seems. I'll find out the charity she contacted and let you know.....having googled, I think it might have been through this lot; LINK Part of Beit Al Kheir - which rings a bell. Will double check but they look good anyway. |
Re: Charity shops
Checked, this is the one.
Beit Al Kheir is the charity the Malabes site / app is the tool to donate to. |
Re: Charity shops
Thrift for Good - Times Square and mall on the palm do - Thrift for Good | ThriftforGood
Otherwise, security/lifeguards/cleaners etc are generally very happy to take them. |

Re: Charity shops
We have a clothes donation bin in our community in Jebel Ali. The churches will also take clothes - I know ours does.
