cat stuck
Is there a non emergency number I can call for the fire brigade? My cat is stuck on a ledge about 15ft above the ground and my ladder isn't quite long enough to reach him, I can touch him but I can't get a grip. I need somebody a bit taller than me or a slightly longer ladder. Any suggestions the poor thing has been up there all night. :-(

never mind, a kindly neighbour came round and I managed to get him down, I got my dog's choke chain around his neck and pulled him off the ledge and dropped him on to a cushion..he is eating breakfast now :-)
