Default cat owners...

...I got some nice big houseplants last week, now my cat keeps jumping on them and kicking all the soil all over,

how do I stop this? what about those little balls / stones people have over the soil??

break their legs, it will stop them jumping.

Seriously, there is a product called 'keep off', should have it either at Paws & Claws in Mirdiff, or from Petland in Al Quoz.

Get rid of the plants! .....problem solved!

Try orange peel around the plant cats hate it wont go near and you get to eat the orange first!

We use a water pistol, whenever the cats look like going somewhere they shouldn't we shoot them. Appears to work.

Be careful though as a lot of house plants are toxic to cats, and deffo never allow lilies in the house.

its lilly pollen thats poisonous to cats so if you remove the stamen from the flowers your ok. pain in the arse to do every time you've got lillies though!
