My boys are 5 & 6 and when we go to Dubai, they have an absolute whale of a time at Atlantis. They would stay there for weeks if we could afford to.

They enjoyed (but it was during summer) the climbing frame stuff in one of the indoor parks in a mall - but that was because us parents tag-teamed for shopping.

The adventure area and the science / play park (was cite des enfants) in mirdiff (?) mall killed half a day.

Ferrari world was too sophisticated.

Boat trips are fun but a dhow in the river would be just as much fun for them.

dreamland in RAK is nice, but Feb is too cold as the water isnt heated. And RAK is a shit ugly place and boring for them to drive.

musandam is pretty for adults, but kids would find it boring.

Personally I would spend some time in Atlantis, and try and find a nice beach or two near you. The boys will just want to splash and run around.

they do not issue temp licence any more so you couldnt drive a private car. as a tourist you can hire a car, as a resident you can lease/hire a car.
