Cats are curiously uninterested in playing fetch with bones/balls or other tossed miscellany. They are fascinated by their own hairballs while dogs seem to just puke and run?
I tend to treat all animals as if they were one short step away from appearing in a supermarket fridge neatly packaged with the sell by date.

Mrs H a friend of mine has rescued three kittens, one female and two male that will be ready for rehoming in three weeks. She wants the boys to stay together but the female can be rehomed on her own. E mail me if your interested.

Persians are boring!

We have a Siamese and a Burmese that will be coming over soon. The Burmese is very dog like. He comes when you call him, plays fetch with bits of paper etc. He will drop a toy in your lap when he wants to play and shout at you if you ignore him.

Both our cats greet us when we get home, waiting just by the door.

Burmese are supposedly the most dog like of all cats

As i said early, cats seem to be much more self sufficient here and seem to be easier to look after AND my neighbours have cats so i would be keeping in with them too!

Ive always been around pets and i miss coming home to an empty house

I understand that...
cats are very different from dogs though...if you are 'lucky' you might get one that is a bit 'doglike' but most of them will just do as they please, whether you like it or not...I am a cat person...
My cats are all outside 24/7...and they are fine...

Before anyone asks the sofa shown is not mine, nor at any time have I purchased or othwise posessed such ghastly items. They are, in fact, my mums.

adorable he was as a kitten! got him from feline friends would you believe! him and Hugo fell very deeply in love but there has been a fall out since I think Radley grew up and realised he wasn't gay
