They make fake Smart cars, I doubt an iPhone would be that challenging to fake.
I say good on them, they live in the wild west of manufacturing and western companies exploit the cheap labour to make products so it only seems fair they should get a cut of the branding in return.

Hardly surprising..it happens everywhere.
I guess this is just an imitation rather than fake..But say that to someone who hasn't been to one..

How to spot a fake in Dubai - the locals are wearing the real thing, the expats have all been to Karama.

"Can you spot a fake"?
Instead of starting a new thread, couldn't you just have commented in the existing one about Amy Winehouse...........?

At least a well known manufacturer has some degree of accountability. Basically, it's a cruel and unfair world, but better to do something than nothing. I buy fairtrade products where possible and try my best to avoid fakes, although that's part ethics, part taste and part snobbery.

I only buy things if I like them, whether that means they're designer label or from the local Kmart. I spend too much on ballet lessons, shoes, leotards, violins, cellos, etc, etc, etc to be able to afford to buy anything much of myself anyway.
