Default Camel Ride

Dubai - Anyone know where I can take my visiting little 6 year old for a camel ride without doing the desert safari/ Many thanks

There used to be some on the beach at JBR but alas no more, maybe the heat maybe lack of business as JBR is only 20% occupied, maybe even less

The place where you hire quad bikes (near big red I think) on the road to Hatta has pony and camel rides for kids.

maybe a bit extravagant - IF Ramadan is not on this Friday - Bab Al Shams does a brunch / pool use deal and there are camel rides, falcons etc...

Maybe a bit much for a 6 year old - but you get something out of it too!

The camels are still trekking up and down JBR beach as at today and I guess you can still get a ride on them....

Will give that another try first then before I set off out on the Hatta Rd but looked out for them recently and not seen them

I think they hang around between the Hilton and what was the Oasis Beach Hotel when they aren't going up and down the beach.
