Bye Bye Sparky
So it looks as if Mark Hughes is to leave Manchester City and be replaced by Roberto Mancini, at least for the time being. For those unaware, Roberto coached Inter Milan to three consecutive League Titles in Italy before Jose Mourinho took over.

Seems like the new owners applying UAE football manager techniques i.e. If you loose more than two games you are out? Still guess the gave him more than a few coins to jingle in his pocket to F.O.!

Yea............ under Hughes they have beaten Arsenal and Chelsea at home, and drawn at Liverpool and Aston Villa (and deserved at least a draw at Old Trafford). What a tosser...........
So foreign owners have just as unrealistic expectations as British owners then.....

Re: Bye Bye Sparky
Hughes should have gone at the end of last season. The owners were too generous, allowing him so much time when it was obvious that he has the tactical expertise and man management skills of a numpty. The occasional good display should not have hidden the fact that City have a woeful defence. Selling Richard Dunne was the final straw in my eyes. As it will probably take the new guy several months to settle, we will now have to wait for next season to see the progress required by the owners.
