I've just tried to finish this book but have given up. Self indulgent and racist rubbish i'm afraid. As for the affair well she spends most of what i've read rubbishing him so clearly just gold digging and making hay whilst in the sunshine.

i wasted my 12 quid, save your money!!

HAHA. Wish I had the patience and ability to write a book! To be honest i've only just started to use this site. I found it quite tough over here and thought this may help me when we move to Asia.

The book did annoy me though, i've just met so many people like the author over here and it's quite upsetting. I guess if it's meant to raise a reaction then it did just that. Have a read - i'd be interested to know what others think.

It's mostly about her life here, you know drunken weekends, karaoke bars, brunches etc etc. The affair is integral in the book, some arab businessman apparantly.
