British TV
I was in a hotel room the other day in Germany flicking through different tv channels when I came across BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, etc. I hadn’t realised up until then I much I missed them. So is it at all possible to watch British tv in Saudi?! |
Re: British TV
From my limited knowledge, its known as IPTV, so requires a high speed internet connection. We went on holiday to Cape Town earlier this year, the hotel had IPTV set up - with access to all UK tv channels, but the connection was so poor, it kept buffering and freezing.I would imagine it will also require a content provider and also a subscription, but I'm sure there are some creative individuals on here who may be able to direct you better.
Our CEO has IPTV set up in his office, so has the usual European news channels ( Sky, BBC, etc ) on constantly. |
Re: British TV
Amazon Firestick with Kodi and Mobdro installed, and as above decent broadband speed and possibly a VPN in Saudi.

Re: British TV
Lots of subscription possibilities in Saudi now. Ask locally. Deals change frequently. Life has changed since the 1970s when I relied on a shortwave receiver and airmail copies of "The Weekly Guardian" !

As I said, I'm no expert, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on PS |

Don't know the PS/4 so well but I've heard they also work similarly. You sign up for a VPN that gives you a DNS service. The DNS will be a number in the format of XXX.XXX.XX.XXX etc. In your network settings you replace the automatic DNS with a manual DNS using the number you are given.
