Well there is atleast one other cyclists on here...

Yeah i'm pretty suprised but obviously elated he won Milan San Remo at his age given the distance and the hills in the finale. Theyre not hard hills but the speed up them is intense, look how small the final bunch was.

Took Cipo years to win it due to his climbing short comings. Maybe (and i really really hope he does) Mark will mature into a good northern classics rider as he matures, he came second in the junior Paris Roubaix once... and i for one know fisrt hand how brutally hard racing over those cobbles is. Maybe his team will save him from P-R & Flanders untill he's fully ready so as to avoid crashes etc but cant wait to see him smashing the beligians over those Bergs.

Dunno why but i find the classics way more exciting than the points competitions in the big tours.

agree, the 1 day classics are great to watch, just wish we could get them on TV here!!
