Prefer the Thick of It myself.

Re: Brit Humour
Peter Kay thing, can't remember name of it though

Re: Brit Humour
"The Goon Show" when I first heard it - but I hear it now and I am baffled. Why did we think it was hilarious. Humour is very hard to analyse.

Re: Brit Humour
watched a load of old Morecambe and Wise shows the other night, they are the real comic genuises of our time, them and then Vic n Bob :)

Re: Brit Humour
Not going out...very funny, Lee Mack, Nothern humour
Outnumbered...not a comedy but sooo funny |
Re: Brit Humour
I LOVE Morecambe & Wise. The Andre Previn sketch is possibly my all time favourite funny bit.
Also Yes Minister, Blackadder, Phoenix Nights. On radio, Cabin Pressure and I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue. "The world's funniest people are the British. In addition to humour, they have wit." |

Early Doors in my favorite!

Re: Brit Humour
Blackadder (as per Meow) - probably my all time favourite.
Spaced, Fawlty Towers, Thick Of It, The Day Today (Chris Morris is a genius) |

Re: Brit Humour
Blackadder - love it
Fawlty Towers - love it. Given the above, I don't get why I dislike Only Fools and Horses so very much. |
Re: Brit Humour
In no particular order, as below
- Blackadder 2, 3 and 4 only - "Flowery Twats" - Brass Eye Broadening in out, film wise my all time fave brit com would have to be "the Ladykillers", the original not the remake. And anything with Terry Thomas - "hard cheese old boy!" |
Re: Brit Humour
Loved the radio shows,
Round the Horne Navy Lark. All M&W shows are just so funny as well. |
