Default Boy, 6, drives car to school!

A six-year-old boy who missed the school bus tried to drive to lessons in his family's car and crashed.

Police said the boy took the keys to his family's 2005 Ford Taurus and started toward school while his mother was asleep at their home in Virginia.
He ran off the road several times before hitting an embankment and telegraph pole but escaped with minor injuries.

Only in the US!

My friend and I were allowed to take his parents 4WD out on the bush tracks when I was seven and he was eight, but the rule was, we weren't allowed out of second gear - I'd have to tell him if he was about to hit anything when he changed gear though because he had to slide of the seat to reach the clutch.
