Although this is a fairly old story and may have already been reported on here, I thought it was worth bringing to your attention...very sad indeed.

Yes, I read that before. It is a case of gross professional misconduct on behalf of the "surgeon" (?)...no way should the abdominal cavity have been penetrated.
