Why do you have to turn it into a race issue? It couldn't just be "smoke" it had to be "black smoke". People like you are the reason everyone doesn't turn vegan and join greenpeace chasing Japanese fishing boats .

Hubby rushed home on reading MH's news. He says it was a couple of warehouses burning on the opposite side of the main road from DFC with a dozen Civil Defence trucks in attendance. Thanks for getting him out of the office early.

I heard on the radio someone texted in saying traffic was blocked on the mirdiff to dubai side of business bay bridge because everyone was staring at the fire.
I was coming over bus. bay bridge towards mirdiff....but when I got to the fire there wasn't any traffic on either side.
Sometimes i think people text in traffic delays for their route home to try and free it up just as they leave the office.
