Shower gel for me.

From Friends:

JOEY: Hey, why can't we use the same toothbrush, but we can use the same soap?

CHANDLER: Because soap is soap. It's self-cleaning.

JOEY: Alright, well next time you take a shower, think about the last thing I wash and the first thing you wash.

I used to go for gels, but switched to soap in a drive to reduce my overall plastic consumption.

I usually stock up on Lush when i am home, or dead sea products if I run out. Rarely go for supermarket stuff but only because I have sensitive skin.

There is a new branch of Lush in Mercato but the DCC branch has been there for years. Typically they no longer stock the one Lush product I like as it contains a small amount of alcohol

Thanks. If one ever opens in AD I'll maybe start buying here. the other advantage of buying back home is I claim my VAT back .... and when you are spending a few quid, it is worth it.

don't know why, but i'm not a fan of those "homemade soaps"...look good (well, sometimes), but are rubbish when you try to use them...

hasn't lush just opened here, that would presumably be a benchmark for pricing and also a major competitior...

I like Soap and Glory as well and it often on buy 2 get one free etc. Good value for money. I think I have come to the conclusion that hand made soap may not sell/might be high risk investment/ so I think I will give it a miss but I have ordered the samples to see anyway

QV soap free skin products and skin care range for me and my gang - too many allergies.

Bodyshop shower gels - coconut is my favourite at the moment. I always have little guest soaps and gels in my bathroom for guests - most from hotels we have stayed at.

I think you've pretty much nailed it there.

Shower Gel and a loofah. Did go through a phase of using Lifebuoy soap, but soon get fed up with that.

Oddly enough, here in Saudi, and the ME I imagine, soap seems to be still pretty popular judging by the variety on sale in the local supermarkets.

Asians would never dream of touching a showergel, the price of soap is so cheap compared to gel.

Over here I don't seem to get the lather from soap. Lux shower cream does the job best for me. Also, I can use it as a substitute for shampoo.
