A woman who posed as an Emirati while working as a prostitute was sentenced to a year in prison this morning by a Dubai court.

MT, a 29-year-old Palestinian, was arrested in a sting operation and denied the charges when she appeared before the Dubai Court of First Instance last month.

I can't work out which act was deemed to be the crime.

I dont know in this case, but i do know flicking the finger is worse than running over someone at a pedestrian crossing

How can we know that? There's no consistency - pregnant women have delivered their baby while handcuffed to the bed and had the baby taken and given for adoption to local families for the crime of having a child out of wedlock...
