Best sunglasses?

I've no commercial interest in this, just that I got really good customer service from this company, and they deal in really good sunglasses: Gatorz.
www.dzsports.com Also the Curv-z look good (ideal for the desert?), and cheap too at 25 quid a pair. Attachment 94413 Attachment 94414 |
Re: Best sunglasses?
Aint that 125 ?? Nice though!
Im thinking Parachute could be hand too as a quick escape, Im experiencing my 1st ramadan in Saudi this year, lol:thumbup: |
Re: Best sunglasses?
No, the Gatorz are 100-ish quid, and well worth it. I've got Wraptors, and they're the best shades I've ever had.
The Curv-Z are 25 quid, and look really good value. Might get some for my Desert Emergency Pack. |

Re: Best sunglasses?
Please tell me these are only worn whilst doing active sports- they just scream knob to me (and not in a good way).

Re: Best sunglasses?
because they look like functional designer sports wear glasses, if you wore them to the mall with normal clothing they'd look out of place, fine on your racing cycle burning down the road in your little lycra shorts, but worn whilst driving your car just looks wrong. I'm not a fan of Oakley for exactly this reason, people buy them and wear them at the wrong times, you could maybe get away with them if you were at the beach and wearing surf style shorts again looking sporty but you'd have to have a surf board with you as an extra accessory to get away with it.
Even if you wear sports inspired casualwear these shouldn't be worn with them! and before you jump on me to say who am- the fashion police? just to point out I have worked as a fashion stylist for several years and have worked for some credible clients so I do have a professioal opinion on the matter- if you care about fashion that is! :D |
Re: Best sunglasses?
Best sunglasses I ever bought............ GBP 9.99 from Boots about 15 years ago - still got them. No designer logo or fancy crap.

Re: Best sunglasses?
i dont give 2 shits about fashion actually and i get your point.
I cant see your point about driving though? who cares what they look like when driving, apart from lebo's arabs and fashion guru's:D Oakleys are the best sunglasses for protection and durability. Thats not from a fashion aspect, its from someone who needs good glasses for sportswear and general day to day exposure to strong sunlight. |
Re: Best sunglasses?
Not all Oakleys are designed for sports use
