best place for staying close by...
 
...ok, we've never been to stay in fujeirah, rak, al ain etc...and are thinking of going this weekend...

we've looked at banyan tree and al hamra fort in rak...but any other suggestions of really decent hotels in other emirates (don't mind the cost), that are also suitable for kids...

Al Ain is a waste of time.

I'm off to the Cove at RAK this weekend. You might want to avoid that place as we are the family from hell.

We like The Cove in RAK and Le Meridien Al Aqah. Our neighbours and their 2 young daughters (5 and 7) like The Hilton Resort & Spa in RAK.

we stayed there at the time of the RAK half marathon. It is lovely. very nice. The sea is lovely for swimming in should you fancy it.

It is amazing esp if you have one of the villas, the children will love it.
