Tuesday before 9pm I think. First come first served on tables, but they turn around pretty quickly - i've never waited more than about 15 minutes.

I was no great fan of Barasti but it was very popular amongst both men and women. It can be a chill place for a few sundowners. It's easily the most popular bar in Dubai and I always ran into people I knew every time I went there.
Because of its popularity across a wide spectrum of expats and tourists the mood at Barasti could change from night to night depending on who turns up.
Ladies' night at the Westin was always a favourite of mine. Well behaved crowd, nice selection of ladies to ogle and a chill feel.

Are you serious about Barasti?? You're more likely to get raped there while walking from your seat to the bar........... or caught up in rival footy fans having a fight. I hate it almost as much as I hate Fibber McGee's.
If you want a bar with a sort of restaurant-ish feel, try the Nezassezzaisueiezee place at Al Manzil - it's a sports bar but lots of tables for eating, good food, and lots of groups on women in there on a regular basis.
More of a pub-like atmosphere wanted? Dhow & Anchor at JBH attracts 'hen parties' of various vintages, and there are a number of all-ladies teams at the Tuesday Quiz Nights - just turn up and ask to join one......

Barasti has never been my on my favorite list . It was ok before they built the extension a few years ago and when it first opened it was fine. From 2007 to 2010 it was just a fly trap for tosspots .
The food has gone down hill big time and the staff are slow and rude and you get a plastic glasses plus the beers gut rot !
I was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and it was pure shite . Canny location and plenty snatch on the beach to look at but thats about it , you struggle to get served as there's never enough staff.
There far better bars in Dubai , The Rooftop , Jetty Lounge and The terrace at The Park Hyatt to name three .
