Bar opening times in AD

During Ramadan. I think this was mentioned in a recent thread, but can't find it. Anyone know?

I thought the start time for serving alcohol was 8pm across the UAE this year.

Just phoned Sheraton Khalidiya, and the receptionist said the bar would be open at 7:30. Must admit I didn't specifically ask if they were dispensing grog at that time, but when she said "it will be open at like 7:30" I said "like or at 7:30". "At 7:30, sir."

I thought that, but last weeks Time Out showed some places as 7:30 and some as 8:00

I've always found the Capital better for this...drinking at 7:30pm seems fine here but Dubai insists on 8pm. Obviously god's sense of time varies by location.
