I was always under the impression that the little stories on the home page of BE were written by British Expats, residing in their chosen location, and regaling us with the good and bad of their selection, so that others may learn from their experiences...

However, it appears that the site has started to accept advertising pieces, and not marking them as such..

Surely, if TLG wish to advertise on the site, they buy a banner like everyone else..
