Banking Problems

The US bailout and the problems recently experienced by banks in Europe have now spread to Japan.

In the last seven days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Earlier today it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale. Analysts believe it will go for a song, while shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.

Samurai Bank is soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, and Ninja Bank is reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.

Finally, five hundred staff at Karate Bank have now been given the chop, and there's breaking news that there's something fishy going on at Sushi Bank. A spokesman representing workers at the bank commented that staff there are worried that they may get a raw deal.
