Bangkok hotel recommendations

Alreet?

I'm heading to Bangkok for a few days in Feb and need somewhere rather nice and swanky to stay.

Banyan Tree looks nice, as does the Sukhothai Hotel.

I stayed in the Shangri La a few years back and that was pretty nice but I always prefer to go on personal recommendations.

Cheers!

Holiday Inn. Great location. Joined to the Intercon. Fraction of the price. Recently renovated when we stayed in '09

The Grand Millennium in Sukhumvit - A nice hotel, I wouldn't say swanky, but nice.

Walking distance from Asok metro/train station and just 200 yeards from Soi Cowboy :)

Also near Asok metro - The Westin and a Sheraton.
