A sporting nightmare.

Last Saturday they lost the Asian play-off for next year's World Cup finals against a palpably inferior New Zealand team.

Today, their only Beijing Olympic gold medallist, Rashid Ramzi, was stripped of his medal following confirmation that he had tested positive for something or other.

Otherwise, Bahrain sport is in good shape................. :huh:

Arguably better than the Republic of Ireland, who were eliminated from the World Cup by the hand of God aka Thierry Henry, who admitted after the game that it was a hand ball. The luck of the Irish!
