Used to be a neighbour who would burn all his household rubbish on the big fire inside an outhouse at the bottom of his courtyard. This included plastic too.
He doesn't do it anymore since I dobbed him into the council (with photos of the billowing black smoke coming out of his chimney) and he got a visit from the police and a hefty fine for pollution ! Serves him right. Don't see why the kids and I should suffer his poisonous smells in our home because he's too lazy to recycle. |
