spinneys have some ace bacon at the mo. air cured organic british bacon, looks awesome but i refuse to pay 68dhs for 10 slices!

there is some in the Organic supermarket, it isn't organic but hormone free, smoked breakfast bacon, about 10 dhs a pack if that.

might check that out ta, organic place pisses me of though, great idea pity its the usual dubai greedy profit gouging cack going on, the price they want for an organic chicken is insane, its just about cheaper getting one shipped over from the uk yourself

he has spoken to his chicken supplier but he can't get the prices reduced, he is aware of it as I keep nagging him. The majority of his other meat undercuts Spinneys by a long shot, if you shop in Sundays - that's market day. I buy all my meat there now. I can honestly say that the owner is not a greedy profit gouging cack.

with the chickens yes, he is trying to get another source but it is so difficult as there are countries that he can't deal with etc due to import restrictions. He does have a discount day when they are 20% off which brings it down quite a bit. The exchange rate with the UK doesn't help at all. But even still plenty of people are still buying them. He is very aware of pricing, he gets it in the neck enough from me.

he only has two stores now, The Greens and Dubai Mall but yes the discounts are for both stores. Every Sunday is market day and the third Sat of the month is 20% off day.

I used to eat loads of bacon when out in UAE ..Now i'm back in the UK I dont eat it at all ???
