Hhhmmm, not actually medically/scientifically proven. They 'believe' it's this form of refined cannabis which induced a change. But at least they're using a medical form of the drug in a strictly controlled fashion, not sitting her down to smoke a da dope.

That's the common misconception tho. Most of the Medical Marijuana distributors that they have in the US deal a lot more in cannabis extracts, oils, essences etc than they do in actual weed.

There was quite a good documentary on them on Discovery. This also detailed the struggle they face against Federal charges as although they are state licensed and as such legal, the federalies have being trying to stitch them up on charges associated with 'profiting from the sale of drugs' in a similar way to how they use RICO.
