Make it a prisonable offence to have more than 1 kid, encourage more abortions, manufacture more condoms, make vasectomy or hysterectomies complulsory at 30 years of age, exterminate a few million people....???

with mega-droughts hitting africa and food crops being turned to 'bio-fuel', i think man will 'unintentionally' balance the books on population. what needs to disappait (spelling?) first is the 'heir-and-a-spare' culture from developing nations which isn't that far from happening.

(oh, and religious nut jobs like the pope going to developing nations and saying that condoms are bad... :curse: )

nature (and or our stupidity) will sort it all out for us.

Fertility rates in the developed world are dropping like a stone, globally the developed world has an incidence of diabetes approaching 1 in 3, environmental polution has more than doubled the rate of brain cancers in the west, there is perchlorate in baby foods originating in the USA, access to clean water is becomingh rarer globally, India has a population of over 1 billion people with no family planning in place-within 50 yrs millions of those will die of starvation. The likelyhood of a catostrophic global disease epidemic increases daily..etc etc etc.

As any population approaches too high a density in nature there is always a disease, environmental change or something similar which culls the numbers significantly, its only a matter of when it happens
