Attacks in London
Any thoughts on the recent robberies on UAE Citizens in London?
Seems to be getting a lot of coverage in Gulf News http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/uae/cr...soon-1.1323499 |
Re: Attacks in London
Of course it will get lots of coverage locally. I suspect a few criminal types have realised that people from the Gulf have money so are worth robbing. I doubt Emiratis are specifically targeted, just those who like like they are from the region and thus probably very wealthy.
The first attack was particularly horrible, but I suspect there were, sadly, several other similar cases in London and other big UK cities that day against non-Emiratis. |
Re: Attacks in London
Inside job i reckon , guest list names of Gulf Arabs been passed on to the usual undesirables looking for big money .
As already said the first one was very nasty indeed and im sure they'll do the time if convicted of armed robbery and attempted murder . |

Re: Attacks in London
Gulf Arabs are a particularly obvious target for criminals I'm only surprised it's taken until now for them to be targeted.
Situationally unaware, glaringly obvious displays of wealth and highly unlikely to fight back when confronted. They are pretty much an ideal target. The only surprising thing is the horrific level of violence displayed in these attacks |
Re: Attacks in London
Front page of The National yet again today - they seem keen on ensuring that no Emirati tourists visit London for a while.
