atonement...
 
...watched it yesterday and thought it was really good. I didn't expect to cos of the hype, but it was fab...anyone else seen it??

Atonement?? Atonement??

Don’t think I know it……..

But judging by its title I assume it’s a story about a few bitchy female posters who suddenly get feelings of regret that they have been ganging up on a female poster who really doesn’t deserve it.

Mind you, I could be wrong………..

The book by Ian Mcewan is even better than the movie - I highly recommend it...

Saw it two weeks ago. I thought the little girl was rather silly and why on earth was the guy convicted of rape in the first place? Where was his defence lawyer? Otherwise, it was an okay movie. Would like to read the book.

i still remain to be convinced about ebooks...had to test the couple that were on the market a few years ago for work, and they really aren't something you want to sit and read in bed or on the beach...

thanks, hubbie is going over to the uk next week so i'll order it and he can pick it up for me...it's not like it's an obscure book though, i do despair sometimes about general supply of things here...
