Default Atlantis?

Anyone that's been here a while know when I could get a good deal on the underwater rooms at Atlantis? I really want to stay there as I love the view the rooms offer but at 30k AED it's way outta my league!! Are there EVER any offers on and, if so, what can I expect (apart from getting ripped off!) to pay and when?

Cheers

30K ,that's robbery on a grand scale even for Dubai's rip off standards , why on earth anyone would pay that to stop there is beyond me.

Even for a fortnight that's expensive but 30k AED per night is, quite frankly, shocking!

You're overpaid...30k a month is money wasted in my humble opinion!

Quarterly it's still not very appealing but then again I am a miser. Anything more than AED1000 per night for a hotel room is money down the toilet in this country. Given they only pay the staff 1500 a month in even five star hotels where is all this money going?

Even by UAE standards, that building is tacky and tasteless.

The Burj al Arab has underwater rooms, but I'm with Blue Cat on this. Never heard of the Atlantis having underwater rooms as well.

I assume it's the ones facing the fish tank.

Oh, right. Never thought of those as being underwater rooms.

30,000 is ridiculous. No doubt a few spoilt Arab mock-royals have paid full price for the room but my bet it's mostly used as freebies to attract celebrities to Dubai.

I didn't say underground, I said underwater. My apologies for not knowing the building layout exactly but if you view the website it certainly gives the impression, very cleverly it seems, of being immersed underwater. To be fair, if you put a hole in the plastic that is the fish tank wall, you would be under water in a few seconds!

Anyway, my original point was is there any offers ever given that you know of! This site can be so frustrating at times

Cheers for the support MH
