Just got back. Bought a beautiful Indian oil-painting signed by the painter herself, a 1.0metre high giraffe and baby carving, two tennis and badminton rackets, a 200 page photography book of New York presented by Donald Trump and assorted odds and ends. Got change out of Dhs100 despite paying more than the asking price on several occasions. Lubbly jubbly.

For those of you still around it is ARTE Souk this Friday at Times Square from 12 Noon. Meow won't be there but I will be, there won't be as many vendors as usual but it's still worth a visit.

Good luck! A full day of talking to people with nowhere to go and have a drink, apart from the public loos? No thanks, especially as we sell food products. Seems quite a few regular stallholders will be giving it a miss.
