use it all the time.
savings depends on what you are buying and what it weighs.
i'd say i probably save about half to 1/3 of the cost of stuff on average by ordering from the UK and US over prices here including the cost of shipping.
eg I bought a camera bag recently which including shipping was well under half the UAE price

use it quite a bit. shipment prices usually a lot cheaper than ebay seller prices. Also allows purchases from sellers who won't ship to UAE. Also things tend to arrive a lot quicker

its not about savings its about getting things that you cannot get here no matter the cost.

Have used it quite a few times and very useful for purchases from the UK / US that don't ship internationally. However, they do have a prohibited list eg:
E Cigs and Accessories
Firearms / Explosives / War mongering equipment
Dead or alive animals
So, if you're planning a military coup, whilst vaping and breeding ferrets -forget it.
Fragrances is also also a bit tricky. Ordered some, but they refused to ship, whilst others I know have had them shipped with no issue. Vitamins can also be a bit tricky if coming into KSA. Check their website for prohibited items.

The overall savings are usually worth it, though. I just ordered a large heavy car part from the States. Total cost was 780 AED, with just over half of that being the shipping, but the same part would have cost me 1500 AED if sourced locally.

Sometimes S&S is cheaper than direct shipping, sometimes it isn't. You just have to do the sums each time.
