I'll have to get myself an iphone sooner or later, thing is I have an ipod touch with all the apps, movies, music on so if I got an iphone then that would be redundant.

There is no international data plan on iPhone like the BB one so you would be paying full roaming data charges which will be expensive esp as iPhones eat data - my network data is always off when roaming and I rely on wifi or a UK BB.
Mind you, I got well screwed by Etisalat on a BB international data plan a couple of years ago in (rural) Europe - AED 3,000 for data over wap (I think thats what it was) which is what it falls back on if it can't get 2 or 3G. Only way around this is to delete the Wap settings from the service book.

cancelled my data plan after a major run in with Etisishit last August which still isn't resolved. My husband has no issues with data, he is with Du and has got the premium package. I just use wifi.
