Indeed - and a far more comfortable victory than the scoreline suggests..... United: not a single shot on target all night - I bet that's a first........

Man U were hardly better than a Sunday league team.

I was highly entertained by Ferguson & Mancini getting all stroppy with each other though.

Whiskeynose had the audacity to suggest that Roberto had been "badgering" the referee. Talking about the pot calling the kettle black. Incidentally, how on earth has Rooney gone so many games without a booking. As for Nani being allowed to show dissent while Yaya was immediately booked when he did so. And where did six minutes of stoppage time come from? It was the 96th minute when he finally blew. A good solid performance by the team in blue. Newcastle is up next.

Compelling and full-blooded though **............

Yaya Toure had the best game I've ever seen from him....... and United didn't even manage an offside.....

I expected Man Utd to make a game of it. Didn't care who won. 1 shot on target all night is shite.

They didn't even manage one shot on target. Get your facts right. Gaz Baz was City's best player in my view. A very underrated midfield supremo.

1 or none still shite. They reported it as 3 shots on target last night and I cant for the life of me remember any of them. I thought yaya was excellent.

Particularly when Richards came on (for Tevez I think?) allowing Yaya to roam much further forward. Still I think he might have wasted one or two chances on long shots instead of getting it in to a team-mate in the box (though Aguero was even more wasteful). Yaya looked like he was back with Barca for a while though!
