This thread is getting weirder and weirder. It seems that we are now arguing about where the burden of proof sits. Personally I couldn't care less.

If people want to spend their life being part of a religion and letting it control everything they do that's fine with me, and I understand why they need to prove that god exists (if he doesn't then they have effectively wasted their life), but I don't get why it is so important to atheists to prove that there is no god...

I don't really care. Heaven will be like Maldives where you can really relax. But hell will be like Saudi, hot and shitty but you find good mates. Either way I don't care.
