if you are on westchase The Rio Ranch attached to the hilton serves ok food if you don't want to go downtown where the finest restaurants are. also check our Fogo's on westheimer.

the most authentic 'pub' in town is The Red Lion imo, on shepherd (inside loop 610)..food's not bad. The Black Lab is OK but prefer The Red Lion ~

yes the shopping is good esp in the galleria however i prefer the smaller individual shops to be found inside loop 610.

some of the comedy clubs are ok except for me i miss all the punch lines coz i don't get their humour

check out the museums and go downtown, it's been done up ok and is quite safe in the daytime anyway.

if you decide to try the Rio Ranch check out the smallish bar area to the right once inside the restaurant doors. it's better to eat/drink there esp if you are on your lonesome....just a thought.
