anyone been to Houston?

Im in Houston. its freezing and rainy...

on a plus thou, my hotel room opens up onto a pool and a jikuzi:D

saying that, had a few 'shiner bocks' last night. $1.50 a pint....

Dubai take note, not everything has to be expensive :sneaky:

Anyone have any recommends for Houston (apart from leaving ASAP)

Or how about getting rid of that offensive racist signature you insist on dragging along with you, and then you can look forward to some responses from people who might actually treat you seriously.......??

Best you'll get is the Red Lion on Shepherd Street. If you are in Post Oak / Galleria then it is about 15 bucks away.

It sells Boddies and some Brit beers and you can eat there is you want to become fat.

If you are not in the Galleria then don't go there....er don't go to the Galeria that is..

Well your signature block is no bed of roses if you don't mind me saying so. You are only dissing him to disguise the fact that you are a kilt wearing shirtlifter too!

So you waited for him to be 3,000 miles away so that you strut your feathers???

It might have rained yesterday, you probably even had bad thunderstorms but I don't call 60 degrees freezing.........and today it was a beautiful sunny in the high 70's day. Perfect for Houstonians who have to put up with heat and humidity for most of the year.

If I was lucky enough to be in Texas for a few days at my company's expense, the last thing I would do is bother writing on the British Expat board...get a life!
