Default Anti Austerity wins in Greece

The Greeks are fed up with belt tightening and now, filled with some form of machismo, appear to want to show the EU the bird and not pay back the massive loans. A problem which the EU itself has simply been putting off and putting off. Now a day of reckoning dawns.
Who will blink first, the greeks who will be 'forced' to carry on as before or no new money, in fact a highly likely withdrawal from the Euro, massive inflation (because they are skint) and they crash & burn.
Or the EU which will somehow restructure the loans in order to give more money, thus delaying the problem once again to sometime in the future.

Or will there be a third way, will the EU simply write off the billions already loaned and hand over some more cash in order to save the euro.

Default Re: Anti Austerity wins in Greece

Fortunately Dad went last week and transferred the majority of the money he had there out. Asking around, none of them really know what might or might not happen (at the time) depending on who got in.

All one giant cluster **** and it's entirely their own doing. Every single town, village, city is completely bent, cash money only, avoiding taxes, avoiding paying out for anything. Bless them, it's a couple of generations of this attitude and unfortunately it seems a good chunk of younger people are suffering from it....whilst other younger folk are perpetuating the problem.
