Another Prem season done and dusted....
So Man Utd Champions for 2010-2011.... For me a pretty good end to an otherwise fairly crappy week.....

Outrageous conduct for the last six minutes or so though - what was that all about? And why did Blackburn go along with it? They must have heard that Blackpool and Wolves were winning, so I would have thought they would have gone all out for the three points....... if they now lose at Wolves next week, they can still go down.

Spent the hours between 5pm and 8pm sitting a car workshop waiting for the car's radiator pipe to be fixed. So? I hear you ask...
So - it meant I saw absolutely not football at all yesterday. No FA CUp Final - wasn't too bothered to be honest , No Man U game, and more importantly, missed a 7 goal thriller at Blackpool.
West Ham have gone, and from there it's any two from five. If Wigan win today, they have a great chance to stay up. A Brum win puts them pretty safe. All goes to the last game?

What a stupid thread title. The battle for the last Europa League place is still very much alive and any two of five teams could join West Ham going down. As Whiskeynose will almost certainly put out a reserve team (again) next weekend, it may just give Blackpool an unfair advantage. Just like when United played West Ham a few years back. Also, the battle for the third automatic Champions League place is still alive, although I cannot see the Arseholes losing at home to the Villains. Anything but done and dusted, you Ragamuffin.

West Ham are probably down, I agree, although if they were to win their last two (very winnable) games, their goal difference will almost certainly be better than Blackpool's or Wigan's, so they may yet avoid the dreaded bottom place.
I said weeks ago that 40 points would stay up, and I'm not going to be far out, but Blackburn could go down with that number by losing at Wolves next week. I expect three points for a battling Birmingham today, so they should be fine, but I think Blackpool's chances of a result against even a weaker MU team next week are slim.

Depends which end of the table one is interested in really doesn't it?
I took it as a combination of two factors, Blue v Red and the old jealousy coming thru again mixed with the LH's normal surliness ....
Fook me, lighten up old timer, your give yourself a coronary....

Commiserations to West Ham fans - that was (for sheer excitement, though not quality) the Game Of The Season. Tough on Rob Green - some magnificent saves, only to let in a daisycutter. Mind you, the idiots at the other end should have ensured WH were three up by then.
And what was I saying about Blackburn regretting settling for just one point yesterday? They will lose at Wolves, surely, and then it's fingers crossed time......

Sadly, I had to endure Liverpool vs Spurs, would much rather have watched the Wigan v West Ham game, sounded a right drama.
Any two from five now, that result brings Blackburn and Wolves right back into the mire. Looking forward to next Sunday!

Birmingham travel to White Hart Lane at the weekend. Squeaky bum time for them. Meanwhile, Man City can finish third with two wins and thus avoid having to play the likes of Bayern Munich in the Qualifiers. Owing to their European pedigree, Arseholes would be seeded and thus face much weaker opposition if they finish fourth. A better scenario all round for English fans.
