Maybe western women (and no, I'm not married, tried it twice etc.). Let themselves go too much, especially after childbirth (of course us blokes are always Adonis personified), and they forget that they are being kept by their husband's expat salary, so they do their coffee mornings, their nails, the maid takes junior to school etc. etc. they will NEVER fly economy (as mentioned in a previous thread), and they basically do nothing. Whereas shall we say "Oriental/Eastern/Whatevers" actually look after their husbands, little things like ensuring his work shirts are folded correctly (no, that's not the maid's job), knowing what he likes to eat, knowing he's had a really crap day at the office so mixes him a G & T when he gets home. Little things like that. Can't wait to meet you Alexa... :p |

If it gets any larger it 'could' be telling of what Western women think of the institution of marriage.

WTF are you talking about? The increase in Asians is almost certainly down to the arrival of relatives of the Asian families already here. Those married to Brits represent a tiny and insignificant minority.

Another depressing tale. What kind of sick bastard marries their 19 year old daughter off to men of 75 and 80 years of age? :frown: |
