Was just driving along Al Khail Road and saw one partially completed building between the Burj Dubai and Al Khail road had the top 2-3 floors engulfed in flames!

This one hasn't made it to the papers yet - but from a google search it appears that fires here are almost an everyday/regular occurrence

I would put money on it that most of these fires are electrical. I had to stop some of our workers making and extension lead out of comms wire! They wound 4 of the strands together and connected them to the main electrical wire. They said it was ok and then wrapped them in masking tape!
Oh and then you have the guys using the drills and heat lamps by just pushing the wires into the electrical socket and holding them in place while their mate uses it - FU CKIN Idiots!
