The Annual Migration....
Am I the only guy on here that is actually looking forward to a month or 2 of peace and quiet, being able to do what I want to do???

I'm doing much the same as you guys 'cept on a bigger timescale, in that the family's permanently back home and after being sort-of full-time with them for the last 20 years, I now have a couple of years of more-or-less doing what I want (as opposed to being restrained for 10 months then being free for 2 months).
I can't possibly put down in indelible interweb ink what I get up to, but it does include all my preferred vices except playing cards for money (sadly). Mid-life crisis? Hell yes!:thumbup: |

had a week now and must say ive enjoyed every minute of it.
got the spinning bike parked in front of the telly for the last 90mins of the TdF. Then go for a swim or a run. Then make the decision...bed or beer..lately its been a few beers.. Once my race on the 25th is over ill be binning the training for a few weeks and piss up to excess.. woohoo. |
