Just over 9 years since I came back
Now approaching half my life in the UAE and half in the uk which makes it somewhat confusing as to where I feel at home most

Most of the last 21 years in the region, but only three years here (Dubai) on this tour-of-duty (plus two years here a few years back).
When I first arrived in Riyadh (Oct 92), a fellow expat told me the 'golden rule' - "If you stay in the Middle East for two years, you will stay for twenty......". How I laughed..............
