Andy Murray

Three Grand Slam Finals, and three losses. First ever player to 'achieve' that particular milestone.

Please don't make it four out of four....

Andy was sluggish today. Never mind ..another time...

He still walks away with AUD1.1 million.

Re: Andy Murray

He looked like he played badly, and maybe did, but by jove his opponent played well.

Murray caught up with him by 2009, but now his no. 5 in the world tag looks about right. Maybe 4.

Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl and Goran Ivanisevic lost their first three grand slam finals (Lendl lost four) and ended up winning major titles.

So he gets no credit for being a (British) player who makes it to a grand slam final? Or three of them? He must be really awful to have got that far.

Re: Andy Murray

Even four-time Wimbledon semi-finalist Tim Henman got better press than Murray gets and who, at least, got to three finals.

Yes, thanks for the correction! He's still a much better prospect than 'Tiger' Tim Henman. Where on earth did he get that accolade from? Tiger?

You should read the transcript of the radio programme that Tim Henman and Andy Murray were taking part in. It was jovial banter...
