Every dictator have his supporters.

Usually they start with a lot of support from the masses, they use populism to achieve this. Then they show their real face.

You can still find deutch ppl that revere hitler, same in latin america with their different dictators.

Specially ppl who didnt live them, and just read or listen the colorful stories of their supporters.
