Alexandre Robert Case - update

His Mum was forcibly removed from Court yesterday.

This account from the Gulf News ....

http://www.gulf-news.com/nation/Poli.../10170931.html

"Meanwhile, lawyer Saeed al Ghailani, of Saeed al Ghailani Advocates and Legal Consultants, who volunteered to defend A.K. and I.M., said: “According to a forensic medical report, A.R.’s symptoms prove that he suffers from a disease (Al Ubna in Arabic) which makes him ask others to have sex with him but not otherwise. He has become an addict to submissive sex.

Therefore, he couldn’t have been forced to have sex with the suspects.”"

That was his DEFENCE lawyer talking??????

Western papers are, surprisingly, yet to publish... be interesting to hear their take on it.

yes that was the two Defendant's defence lawyer talking! trying to prove that it was consensual sex.

From what I can see the 3rd defendant has admitted to what happened but it doesnt seem as if he is being used as a prosecution witness. Very strange.

Well, the Qadi had stated that the death penalty would be applied if they are found guilty... which may turn out to be counter-productive as the political will to execute two nationals may not exist... we'll see on Dec 12 I guess.

Easy, boy. Injustice is not unique to the UAE. Just spit on it wherever it appears, it'll grow to feel good....

Another scaffolding collapse kills construction workers...another housemaid found hanging from a tree...another group of Indian workers still in jail years after accidental fatalities at work because they cannot afford to pay blood money...all in today's papers...what a lovely place.

You got to admit, that defence argument would be laughed out of court in most countries in the world. In fact, in most countries, the defence would be in contempt.

1, He has a 'medical condition' which compells him to be f**ked in the ass (presumably being called being gay - although Al Ubna means, 'the taken' doesn't it?)
2, The defendant is HIV, if he was raped, why does he not have HIV then eh eh eh eh, the kid would be AIDS ridden if he'd been bummed by someone with AIDS surely.

Totally accept that the defence argument is beyond contempt......

Apparently only the partner being penetrated is gay - so long as you don't take it yourself, you are still straight...
